We are The Pennington House. Kristen is the fiber artist and creator; Blake is the strong arm and helps with the backend of the business; The kids bring inspiration, love, and chaos, and are a big part of why this business was born. Kristen, a wife and mother of 5 (almost 6), started this business In 2019 when her husband, Blake, became very ill and unable to work. Out of the most difficult season of our lives, The Pennington House business was born. This business began as a means to provide for our family, while also using the outlet to heal through mental illness that Blake and Kristen were both struggling through. We hope that what we create inspires others. It was started and has grown during a time of great hardship, but has been a way to bless us and others in the midst of chaos and trials. We hope that you are blessed by what we create as well and that you find hope and healing through our art.
